Advancement

Trail to Eagle;

The Trail to Eagle Scout requires tremendous commitment to stay on
a long and sometime rough path. As a Life Scout, you are just one
step away from youth's most significant accomplishment and honor.
But that's a big step, and only 56% of our Life Scouts complete Eagle.
Happily, the choice is yours and you probably have actively involved parents (few Scouts make it to Life, let alone Eagle, without this support).
You can advance at whatever rate you want, but remember that all Eagle requirements except the Board of Review must be finished before your 18th birthday.

Webelos bridge today. Today all the Webelos 2 bridged over. We all welcome the new scouts to our troop.

Today we had the Court of Honor. It was fun because we got to see everyone get their awards.

Congratulations to everyone who earned Merit badges, advancements, and most importantly new offices. We started with a Open Flag Ceremony. Then we started awarding advancements. The following people earned advancement:

Brandon B., Jordan A., Ryan C., and Jasial Z. in Shark Patrol have earned their Scout rank. Travis K. is now the Troop Guide to help the Sharks assimilate. The Sharks have elected Patrol Leader Aaron E. and Asst. Patrol Leader Ryan C. During the January camp out at Worth Ranch the temperature fell below freezing during the night earning all of the scouts their Polar Bear awards. Congratulations to Travis K., Chris E., Eric E., Chad J., David W., Rusty P., Hogan W., and Jake T.
